As a child my favorite things to do were drawing, and spending time out in nature. I should have known what my passion was then. I ventured off to college and got my bachelors degree in Earth Science. I took an art class there and LOVED it. The first painting I sold was actually a homework assignment. I guess I should have changed my major. 

I started out painting in acrylics whenever I had time. As I began painting more and more, I decided to take a class in oils. It was definitely a game changer for me. I eventually quit my office job to become a full-time artist (or however many hours I can manage with 4 girls.) 

I have numerous awards from juried and national art shows and had a solo show at the Massachusetts State House.
